mission: possible

Nesting is all about concurrent missions. There's the Painting Mission, the Furniture Mission, and my personal favorite - the Art Movement Mission. As in, moving away from mass-produced Z Gallerie snoozers, and moving toward fresh, original, one-of-a-kind collectibles.

I'm loving my recent Jen Skelley acquisition, and will continue to happily scout Etsy for more indie art, but it seems like a lot of the prints (particularly Gocco-made) I see there are smaller in size. So yay for Papermoth, where I've found ten pages of pretty prints, many of them a full 12"x18":

There are over 200 items listed, with prints in pretty much every color scheme, and most under $20. Me likey.

I love those! Good find, indeed.

I am lucky enough to work at an art college and I know a lot of artists here in Chicago, so we go to a lot of openings and stuff and look for good deals on work from up-and-coming artists. Maybe some of it will even be worth money some day?
